Getting StartedWhat basic tools are worth having before the tree arrives?
Prepare tools for the work you actually face: measuring the site, planting in its soil, watering accurately, and recording observations. A tape measure, suitable digging tools, watering equipment, and a notebook or camera cover many early needs. Add pruning tools when you understand the tree's training plan. Avoid buying specialized spraying or harvesting equipment before you know whether the scale and problems of your planting justify it.
