Mango FAQ

Getting StartedWhy should I avoid planning around a neighbor's biggest-ever harvest?

An exceptional crop gives little information about average labor, losses, or disappointing seasons. Ask for a sequence of harvests and the conditions behind them, including pruning and weather. For your own tree, record usable fruit separately from fruit that dropped or was discarded. Planning around a range of outcomes makes decisions about sharing, storage, and expenses more robust than treating a record crop as normal.
