Give each grafted branch a stable identifier and draw a simple canopy map showing where it joins the tree. Attach every fruit photograph and harvest note to that branch identifier. Keep source and grafting records even if a branch later dies or is removed. This makes the record resilient when labels shift, canopies overlap, or a vigorous branch begins to dominate the visual appearance of the tree.
