Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Growing & Tree CareDoes a newly planted mango always need a stake?

Staking is useful when the root ball moves or the trunk cannot remain stable in local wind, but it is not automatically necessary. Test stability gently and consider the tree's exposure before installing supports. Place ties so they support the tree without cutting into its bark. Review the arrangement as the tree establishes, since a support that helped initially can later become a source of injury.
