Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Growing & Tree CareHow is selective thinning different from shearing a mango canopy?

Selective thinning removes chosen branches to improve the arrangement of the remaining canopy. Shearing trims the outer surface and can leave interior crowding untouched. Before cutting, identify whether you need interior light, height reduction, clearance, or simply control of a new flush. A tree with a neat outline can still have crossed limbs and an inaccessible center if only its exterior is clipped.
