Electrical conductivity indicates the overall dissolved salt load, but it does not identify every salt or nutrient present. Mango is sensitive to saline conditions, so an elevated result deserves interpretation with the full water analysis and soil drainage. Do not compare water conductivity directly with a soil-test threshold that uses a different method. Ask the laboratory to relate the result to your crop, source, and irrigation practices.
