Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringWhy might irrigation water gradually change the pH around a mango?

Water chemistry can influence the root environment over repeated irrigation, particularly where carbonate or bicarbonate inputs are substantial. Measuring water pH alone does not describe the entire chemical effect. Ask for an interpretation that considers alkalinity and the soil's existing properties. If soil pH is rising, review the water source and irrigation history before repeatedly adding products intended to correct the foliage color.
