Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringHow should mango watering change during a cool subtropical winter?

Cool conditions and limited growth can reduce demand, so a summer timer setting may keep roots unnecessarily wet. Check soil conditions and expected rainfall before continuing routine irrigation. Container trees and newly planted trees still require their own assessment because their usable root volumes differ. Use the tree's condition and local climate instead of assuming every mango needs either complete winter dryness or year-round equal watering.
