Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringHow can a mango wilt even when its soil is wet?

Waterlogged or damaged roots may be unable to supply the canopy effectively despite abundant water around them. Wilting therefore cannot distinguish drought from excessive wetness on its own. Check the soil profile, drainage, and recent irrigation before watering again. If the root zone is saturated, address the cause and obtain diagnostic help for continuing decline rather than treating the leaves as proof of thirst.
