Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringWhen should irrigation resume after a mango has been flooded?

Resume based on actual root-zone drying and the surviving canopy's demand, not simply the disappearance of surface water. Lower soil can remain saturated after the ground looks normal. Inspect the profile and check whether further rain is expected before restarting the previous schedule. Continue monitoring for delayed decline, since returning to a timer program too quickly can prolong poor aeration around recovering roots.
