Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringDo pale older mango leaves prove that nitrogen is deficient?

Pale older foliage can be consistent with a nitrogen problem, but it is not a complete diagnosis. Examine whether roots are waterlogged, growth is otherwise impaired, and the symptom is widespread or limited to particular branches. Review recent applications and obtain a properly collected leaf analysis where appropriate. Correct the identified limitation instead of repeatedly applying nitrogen to a tree whose roots cannot use it effectively.
