Mango FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringWhy is casual boron supplementation risky for mangoes?

Boron is needed for normal development, but the margin between useful supply and excess can be narrow. Poor fruit retention alone does not establish a boron deficiency. Include soil, tissue, water, and existing fertilizer sources in the assessment before adding it. Use a diagnosed, locally interpreted need and appropriate product instructions rather than estimating a small amount by eye or repeatedly adding mixed micronutrients.
