Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringWhy can mango fruit have a calcium-related problem when soil calcium is adequate?

Nutrient presence in soil does not guarantee effective delivery to every developing tissue. Root activity, water conditions, and the tree's nutrient balance influence uptake and distribution. Investigate those factors alongside soil and leaf analysis instead of assuming more calcium alone will correct fruit quality. A laboratory result showing adequate soil calcium is useful evidence, but it does not describe the entire pathway from soil to fruit.
