Grafting & PropagationShould I graft a mango rootstock with yellow leaves or dieback?
First find out why the rootstock is declining. Check roots, watering, drainage, pests, and the recent fertilizer history before making a new wound. Grafting is an additional demand on a plant, not a remedy for unexplained weakness. In a nursery, set questionable plants aside with their labels intact so they can be examined without mixing them into a healthy batch awaiting propagation.
