Moving a juvenile seedling shoot onto another root system does not establish that it has become mature bearing wood. If earlier reproduction of a known mango is the goal, distinguish that experiment from grafting material taken from an established selected tree. Keep the seedling's identity in your records. Otherwise an experimental plant can later be distributed under a parent variety name it has never been shown to deserve.
