Do not assume that a storage method for dormant temperate fruit wood applies to mango. Use a mango-specific handling procedure, and obtain storage instructions from the supplying nursery when material must travel. Fresh collection coordinated with grafting is easier to evaluate than prolonged storage. Without a validated method, an exact refrigeration temperature or promised storage life would give more confidence than the evidence supports.
