Grafting & PropagationWhen is veneer grafting useful for mango propagation?
Veneer grafting places a prepared scion against a matching cut on the side of the rootstock. It allows the stock top to remain initially, with its later reduction managed as the scion establishes. That sequence is useful when the nursery can provide follow-up attention. Choose it for a workable fit and an understood aftercare procedure, rather than assuming its name alone makes it superior to a cleft graft.
