A cover that conserves humidity can also build up excessive heat in direct sunlight. Position newly grafted plants where protection from drying does not create an overheated enclosure. Check conditions at plant height rather than judging the nursery from outside. When weather changes, reassess the setup; a cover that was manageable on a cloudy day may need additional shade under the next day's bright sun.
