Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Flowering & PollinationShould all orchard groundcover flowers be removed during mango bloom?

Groundcover decisions should account for insect resources as well as access, competition, and local weed management. Removing every flowering plant at once can alter the habitat available to flower visitors. Retain suitable managed areas where practical, while keeping tree inspection and essential operations possible. The aim is a deliberate floor-management plan, not allowing invasive or troublesome weeds to spread simply because some insects visit their flowers.
