Flowering & PollinationCan flowering mango branches in a vase replace a living pollenizer tree?
Cut flowering branches have been explored as pollen sources, but useful performance depends on flower condition, timing, and insect movement. A bouquet is a temporary supply that needs observation and replacement, rather than the equivalent of a healthy tree throughout bloom. Keep any trial limited and identifiable. Do not assume that branches remaining visually attractive in water are still providing suitable pollen when the receiving flowers are receptive.
