Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Flowering & PollinationWill a mango reliably bloom again after early panicles are damaged?

A later response is possible in some circumstances, but it depends on remaining buds, shoot condition, and the season. Do not remove all surviving flowers on the assumption that a replacement bloom is guaranteed. Inspect which tips were actually damaged and preserve healthy tissue while assessing the event. Local experience can help judge the opportunity, but one tree's recovery in a previous year is not a dependable scheduling rule.
