Flowering & PollinationCan a bloom cover create a heat problem around mango panicles?
A cover changes the environment around flowers as well as protecting them from exposure. Check ventilation, contact with clusters, and daytime temperature rather than leaving protection in place without inspection. In a container setup, use a cover that can be managed without dragging it across fragile panicles. Protection should preserve functioning flowers; an enclosed, overheated space is not automatically an improvement over the conditions outside it.
