Flowering & PollinationShould healthy mango panicles be removed when neighboring clusters show blight?
Do not equate proximity with confirmed death or infection of every cluster. Identify the problem and inspect healthy-looking panicles before deciding what to remove. Disease-specific sanitation may be appropriate, but indiscriminate removal also discards functioning flowers. Mark affected areas and obtain guidance that distinguishes infected tissue from recoverable or unaffected bloom, particularly when unusual distortion suggests a problem requiring a different response from ordinary blossom blight.
