Fruit Development, Ripening & HarvestIs a carpet of tiny mango fruitlets always a sign of crop failure?
Substantial shedding of very young fruit can occur even on a tree that ultimately carries a useful crop. Look at what remains attached, whether those fruit are enlarging, and whether the loss is continuing at a troubling rate. Keep observations from the same branches rather than comparing today's ground litter with yesterday's impression of the whole tree.
