Stacking should transfer the weight through the container structure, not through projecting fruit. Check that the actual filled containers fit together without contacting the top layer of mangoes. Avoid overfilling even when the containers themselves are strong. Inspect fruit from the lowest layers during a trial run, because a tidy-looking stack can still conceal compression damage inside.
