A truck set for a colder commodity may expose unripe mangoes to unsuitable temperatures. Establish the requirements of each product before combining a load, and examine the actual duration and temperature history. Tell the receiver when mangoes have shared a potentially incompatible route. Packaging or pallet placement may alter exposure, but neither should be treated as proof that chilling has been prevented.
