No. Anthracnose can produce a tear-stain pattern, so the shape alone cannot separate disease from sap injury. Ask whether the streak appeared immediately after handling or developed later as the fruit ripened, and look for expanding lesions elsewhere. Photograph fruit before washing or applying any treatment. Include the stalk area in the photograph so an adviser can compare the injury pattern with its possible starting point.
