Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Pests, Diseases & DisordersDoes a wilted mango with wet soil necessarily have a fungal root disease?

No. Saturated soil can impair roots without establishing which pathogen, if any, is involved. Note the duration of wet conditions, examine drainage, and ask for root assessment if decline continues. A fungicide applied to an unidentified problem may leave the underlying root environment unchanged. For diagnosis, include the soil history and a sample containing the transition between healthy and affected roots, following the laboratory's collection instructions.
