Pests, Diseases & DisordersWhat does jelly-like flesh near a mango seed indicate?
Internal breakdown can produce abnormal soft flesh even when the fruit surface gives little warning. Cut several fruit from the same tree and record ripeness, the position of the affected flesh, and whether there is an associated cavity or rot. One damaged fruit is not enough to identify a nutritional cause. Bring a pattern of observations to an adviser before changing the tree's management or condemning an entire harvest.
