Herbicide exposure belongs in the investigation when abnormal growth follows lawn or weed treatment. Record what was applied, where, and under which wind conditions, and preserve the product label. Photograph affected and unaffected sides of the mango canopy as new growth develops. Distortion alone does not prove drift, but this history can prevent a chemical injury from being mistaken for an infectious disease or a mite infestation.
