Seeds are not automatically free of mango pests simply because the fruit flesh has been removed. Seed weevils are one reason to check the origin and movement requirements before accepting a seed lot. Keep incoming material labeled and separate from established nursery stock. If damage or insects are found, seek instructions for identification and disposal rather than distributing the apparently healthy seeds from the same unassessed lot.
