Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Pests, Diseases & DisordersHow should a nursery inspect incoming mango plants for pest problems?

Inspect shoot tips, leaf undersides, stems, graft areas, and the condition of the root ball before placing new stock among established plants. Record the supplier and lot so any later finding can be traced. Hold suspicious plants separately while obtaining an identification. A clean-looking canopy at arrival is useful information, but follow-up observations of new growth are needed before interpreting the intake check as evidence that every hidden problem is absent.
