Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Pests, Diseases & DisordersWhat plant material makes a useful mango disease sample?

Ask the receiving laboratory first, then select material that includes early symptoms and the boundary between affected and apparently healthy tissue. A completely dry twig or decomposed fruit may no longer retain useful evidence of the original problem. Include photographs showing where the sample grew on the tree. Keep samples from different trees identified separately, especially when one is declining rapidly and another has only a few leaf spots.
