Ask for the water analysis, exposure conditions, comparison rootstock, and measured plant responses behind the claim. Include growth and tissue results rather than accepting a photograph of apparently healthy leaves. Test the candidate under the intended scion and local irrigation conditions before expanding its use. A greenhouse screening result can justify a field trial, but it does not describe every saline soil or irrigation regime.
