Keep both. A variety QR code connects to information about the cultivar, while your personal number distinguishes the individual plant in your collection. Several trees can legitimately share one cultivar page but have different sources, rootstocks, and planting histories. Put the plant number where it remains readable, and connect it to your catalog so observations do not become attached to the wrong specimen.
