Mango Varieties & IdentificationWhat should I make of the separate Green Gage and Blackie mango entries?
The Green Gage record directs the reader to Blackie, whose aliases include Green Gage in some parts of Jamaica. That is a documented cross-reference within this database, rather than two independently described cultivars. If a plant is offered as Green Gage elsewhere, ask which regional usage the seller means before applying the Jamaican Blackie description to it.
