The Keitt record distinguishes an older report that it was a Mulgoba seedling from a later genetic interpretation suggesting Brooks ancestry. Record those as different levels and stages of evidence rather than listing both as equally confirmed parents. The cultivar remains Keitt regardless of that historical revision. A planting label can preserve the cultivar name without choosing an unsupported definitive pedigree.
