Mango Varieties & IdentificationHow strong is the supplied evidence for Sia Tong resisting fruit splitting?
The Sia Tong description presents splitting resistance as a favorable trait discussed by hobbyist growers. It does not supply a controlled comparison, a measured failure rate, or evidence that splitting cannot occur. Treat the report as a reason to ask focused questions of local growers. Record the selection, weather, and actual damaged fruit when evaluating whether the claimed advantage appears in your conditions.
