Mango Varieties & IdentificationDoes Florigon's name prove that Saigon is its confirmed parent?
The Florigon record explains the name as a combination of Florida and Saigon, but presents its ancestry in qualified terms, including possible Haden influence. The name's meaning is not itself a genetic parentage result. Keep the naming explanation separate from the proposed pedigree in a collection record, and preserve the uncertainty rather than turning the word origin into a confirmed cross.
