Mango Varieties & IdentificationWhat recorded cross distinguishes Arka Neelkiran from the similarly named Neelum?
The National Horticulture Board lists Arka Neelkiran as Alphonso crossed with Neelum. It is therefore a separately named hybrid selection rather than an expanded spelling of its parent. Retain the complete name on orders and labels. Parentage can help connect breeding records, while local fruiting behavior and identification of an individual plant still require their own evidence.
