Growing & Tree CareIs pollarding a general recipe for keeping any mango permanently small?
Pollarding is a specific system begun on suitable young trees and maintained at established heads. It is not simply repeated severe cutting of an older canopy. A description from deciduous-tree management does not establish mango suitability. For a fruiting mango, use a locally supported training and reduction plan rather than adopting the term as permission for annual large heading cuts.
