Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringHow do I calculate a mango irrigation-water nutrient contribution when the report uses pounds per thousand gallons?

Divide the seasonal gallons applied by one thousand, then multiply by the reported pounds of the nutrient per thousand gallons. Keep each nutrient separate and use the water actually delivered to the planting. This arithmetic estimates an input; it does not prove that all of it was absorbed. Include the estimate alongside fertilizer and organic sources when an adviser evaluates the overall nutrient balance.
