Soil, Fertilizer & WateringShould a mango fertilizer trial compare equal product weight or equal nutrient supply?
Choose the comparison that answers the intended question. Equal product weights test those particular doses and may supply different nutrient amounts. If the aim is to compare nutrient sources, calculate comparable nutrient inputs and account for additional elements each formulation supplies. State any unavoidable differences before evaluating the response. Otherwise, an apparent product advantage may simply reflect a larger nutrient dose rather than a useful difference between sources.
