Soil, Fertilizer & WateringHow do I exclude the weighing container when measuring fertilizer for a mango?
Use the scale's tare function with the empty container in place, or subtract the empty container's weight from the filled weight. Keep the units the same throughout. The resulting net weight is the fertilizer amount used in nutrient calculations and application records. Check that the scale is suitable for the quantity being measured, particularly when a small difference would substantially change the intended input.
