Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringHow should soil texture change a hand-feel moisture check beneath mangoes?

Moist coarse sand may barely hold together, while moist fine-textured soil can form a ball or ribbon when squeezed. Dry clay can still leave hard clods, so forming a lump alone does not prove adequate moisture. Compare the sample with texture-specific guidance and learn its wet-to-dry progression. These cues estimate moisture condition; they are not one universal irrigation threshold for every soil.
