A planned sequence carries accumulated debris out of the larger supply lines before it can be pushed into smaller branches. Follow the system's maintenance procedure through mains, submains, manifolds, and laterals. Provide suitable flushing outlets and flow capacity. Opening a few emitters is not equivalent to creating an effective path for sediment to leave the distribution network.
