Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringWhy is wet-season traffic especially damaging to the soil structure of a mango orchard?

Wetter soil is generally less able to resist deformation under a load. Traffic can compress the pore network and leave restrictions that persist after the surface dries. Plan access routes and postpone avoidable traffic during vulnerable conditions. A vehicle that leaves little obvious damage in the dry season should not automatically be considered harmless on the same orchard floor when wet.
