Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Soil, Fertilizer & WateringIs a hard soil clod necessarily a stable aggregate in a mango root zone?

No. A compacted clod and an aggregate held together by natural binding processes can look similar when dry but behave differently when wetted. Examine structure and stability with an appropriate method rather than praising every large lump. Root access and water movement depend on the arrangement and persistence of pores, not simply visible lump size.
