Soil, Fertilizer & WateringIs saturated hydraulic conductivity the same property as rainfall infiltration around mangoes?
Hydraulic conductivity describes water movement through soil under specified conditions, while infiltration describes entry at the surface and can be limited by crusts, antecedent moisture, or ponding. They are related but not interchangeable tests. A laboratory conductivity result does not by itself establish how much of a particular storm will enter the mango root zone.
