Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Grafting & PropagationHow can I preserve a valued mango before its original tree must be removed?

Arrange propagation while the tree still has healthy, usable shoots, rather than waiting until removal leaves only discarded branches. Ask a propagator to assess the source and prepare suitable rootstocks in advance. Keep the original tree until backups have established if circumstances permit. Grafting preserves selected plant material, while photographs, ownership history, and fruit observations preserve the story attached to the original tree.
